Rental Policies

CONFIRMATION & CANCELLATION

Receipt of a deposit within ten days of your accommodation request will reserve your vacation property. Cancellations should be made in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. In the event of a timely cancellation, deposits will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee.

AVAILABILITY

Most properties are available on a NIGHTLY (2 night minimum) and WEEKLY basis, though some are available by the MONTH as well. For the week of July 4th, rates are subject to a slight increase and only weekly reservations are available.

POLICIES

Mountain Streams does NOT allow pets in any of its properties unless indicated otherwise. For the properties that do allow pets, an extra deposit is required. Smoking is not allowed in any property unless otherwise noted.

WHAT TO BRING

Most of our properties are fully equipped to provide you with all the comforts of home. Vacationers should bring their food, paper products, clothing, personal hygiene items, and laundry supplies. All of our rental property's have linens but you will be charged an additional cleaning fee if you use the property linens and they are not laundered and put back where you found them for the next tenant’s arrival. You are welcome to bring your own linens if you prefer. Most all properties have phones.

DEPOSITS

A damage/security deposit is required on all properties. The rates included in this site cover cleaning costs.

ALL RENTS ARE TO BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE ARRIVAL.
All rentals are subject to a 6.75% NC sales and a 3% room tax. Rates are subject to change without notice.
